Thornton Center Stage

with Alan Chapman

(Sundays, 9pm)

Hosted by Alan Chapman, this is a special program devoted to the artistry of the USC Thornton School of Music. It features a mix of classic material from the school's impressive archive of live recordings from the 1940s to the present. The USC Thornton School is  the only university music school with a regularly broadcast radio program heard in a major media market.

    Hello
I would love to hear and learn and be educated about the classical music that is played on your station. This is a suggestion that might interest others as well to have a 5 minute or a short history on either the composer or the piece itself that is going to be played. The alternative that people might enjoy is to have a certain time of the day (not 1am to 6am) for an hour or 1/2 hour education on a composer or several pieces of a composer.
