KUSC Classic Events are KUSC-sponsored events. We provide the opportunity to experience exquisite and memorable entertainment events for KUSC listeners and members. We sponsor 8 to 10 Classic Events annually. KUSC members are eligible to win tickets for Classic Events by contacting member services.

Boston Camerata
“A Mediterranean Christmas”

America's premiere early music ensemble joins with members of the Sharq Arab Ensemble to bring a unique style and sensibility to our holiday program: the Christmas narrative retold using songs, chants, and instrumental pieces from the countries of the Mediterranean basin. Spain, Italy, and southern France in Europe, and also north Africa and the Middle East feature in this colorful and evocative program. With its inspiring vertical sweep, decorated vaulted ceilings, intricately carved woodwork and Batchelder tile floors, the imposing sanctuary of this French Gothic-inspired landmark church makes an exciting setting for this “jubilant and inspiring” (The Boston Globe) seasonal concert. PARKING: Parking is available for $3 at the parking structure located behind 3303 Wilshire Blvd., across Wilshire Blvd. from the church, accessed through a gated entrance on the west side of Berendo, immediately north of Wilshire.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not attempt to park in the church’s small lots, located behind the church on the east and west sides of Berendo, South of Wilshire. These reserved parking lots are available exclusively to upper-level members of The Da Camera Society.

FROM THE 10 FWY: Exit at Vermont Ave. and head north to Wilshire Blvd. Turn left on Wilshire and proceed 2 blocks to Berendo. For the 3303 Wilshire parking structure, turn right at Berendo.

FROM THE 101 FWY: Exit at Vermont Ave., and head south to Wilshire Blvd. Turn right on Wilshire and proceed 2 blocks to Berendo. For the 3303 Wilshire parking structure, turn right at Berendo.
