Kimberlea Daggy

Kimberlea Daggy can be heard on 91.5 Classical KUSC weekday mornings from 9-1.   She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice from Northwestern University, with graduate studies at Yale University and Arizona State University.  Her radio career started in 1990 at WILL in Urbana, Illinois, and continued for eight years at WFDD in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, before she moved to Southern California in 2001.  Kimberlea gives pre-performances talks and writes program notes for a variety of ensembles throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles Opera and St. Matthew's Chamber Orchestra.  When she's not sharing her love of music on the air, she experiences it first-hand.  Kimberlea still sings, often at the Parish of St. Matthew in Pacific Palisades, where her husband, Roger, is the Parish Organist.  She also plays piano, and she and Roger have two children, Max  and Celia , who (not surprisingly) both sing and play piano.
