THIS DECEMBER, KUSC IS AIRING HOLIDAY SPECIALS EVERY SUNDAY!
December 2, 11PM - Slavic Wonders: Christmas with the Rose Ensemble 
Slavic Wonders is a celebration of the season featuring gems from the libraries and monasteries of Krakow, Prague, and Moscow. The Rose Ensemble of Minnesota has put together a program featuring everything from soaring soprano lines, to the signature Slavic sound of rumbling basses.
December 9, 7PM - The Pacific Chorale: 'Tis the Season
Welcome the holiday season with Pacific Chorale's annual Christmas concert, a Southern California tradition. Featuring Pacific Chorale, the Southern California Children's Chorus and members of Pacific Symphony in the music of John Rutter, Handel and favorite carols of the season.
December 9, 11PM - Welcome Christmas with Vocal Essence
New for 2012: Bring a Torch! This year's program puts the focus on old French carols, alongside two world premieres in the annual VocalEssence/American Composers Forum Christmas carol contest. The new carols call for the intriguing combination of men's chorus with English horn.
December 16, 7PM - A St. Olaf Christmas
A service in song and word that has become one of the nation's most cherished holiday celebrations. The festival, which takes place at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, includes hymns, carols, choral works, and orchestral selections celebrating the Nativity and featuring more than 500 student musicians who are members of five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra.
December 16, 11PM - A Chanticleer Christmas
A celebration of the season via the voices of Chanticleer, the 12-voice San Francisco-based men's choir. The program spans the globe and the centuries — from England in the 1300s to new arrangements of classic and contemporary carols.
December 23, 7PM - Los Angeles Master Chorale: Holiday Wonders
This festive concert of best-loved songs of the season presents one of the world's great choruses in both traditional and dynamic new arrangements.
December 23, 11PM - Echoes of Christmas with the Dale Warland Singers
The Dale Warland Singers were acclaimed as America's premiere choir for over 30 years. Their signature holiday concert was the annual Echoes of Christmas program. This special draws from the archive of their live performances.

CHRISTMAS EVE AT 7AM: A FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS
A broadcast live from the chapel of King's College in Cambridge, England. The 30-voice King's College Choir performs the legendary Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols service of Biblical readings and music. A true KUSC tradition!

The annual Evening Program Chanukkah special, featuring The Chanukkah Story, with Leonard Nimoy and the Western Wind vocal ensemble, and Handel's Judas Maccabeus conducted by Charles Mackerras.
Monday, December 31, 7PM - KUSC's New Year's Eve Bash
This 7-hour program is our yearly exercise in mirth, mayhem and questionable taste hosted by the inimitable Jim Svejda.
