Classical KUSC | Streaming - Troubleshooting

KUSC on iHeartRadio

In order to provide you with a better online listening experience, KUSC recently upgraded its stream encoding software and moved its stream hosting to a new provider. As a result of these changes, you may need to update your iHeartRadio settings. If you are having trouble listening to KUSC’s iHeartRadio stream on your iPhone, iTouch or iPad, please follow these steps:

1) Open the multitask bar by double-clicking the Home button.
2) Swipe left or right and find the iHeart app.
3) Press and hold the iHeart app until the app jiggles and a red minus sign appears.
4) Click on the red minus sign and the app will be removed from the multitask bar.
5) Click on the Home button once and find the iHeart app.
6) Open the iHeart app. If you see “Classical KUSC” under “Recently Played” stations swipe from right to left until the red Delete button appears.
7) Press the Delete button to remove Classical KUSC.
8) At the bottom of the iHeart app, open “Live Radio” and find KUSC by using the search field at the top.
9) When you open Classical KUSC, the stream will play.  Classical KUSC will also appear again in “Recently Played” stations when you open the app again.

For Android users experiencing problems with KUSC's iHeartRadio stream, try this...

1) Go to Settings/Applications/Manage applications/IHeartRadio.

2) From IHeartRadio, choose "Clear Cache".

3) Open the iHeartRadio app again and try to play Classical KUSC.

If the above doesn't work, try this...

1) Go to Settings/Applications/Manage applications/IHeartRadio.

2) From IHeartRadio, choose "Clear Data" (please note, this will cause you to lose existing iHeartRadio settings and saved stations).

3) Open the iHeartRadio app again, search for KUSC, open and play.
