Classical California KUSC will be back at LA Times Festival of Books!
Classical California KUSC will be back at LA Times Festival of Books! Join us at Booth 545 on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st.
This is a remarkable opportunity for children to step into the world of live classical music in a fun and approachable way. Our booth will house kid-friendly classical music activities including our popular “Be a DJ” activity where kids will get to test their skills on the mic and meet our hosts (Alan Chapman, Jennifer Miller Hammel, Brisa Siegel, Suraj Partha, Brian Lauritzen, and Dianne Nicolini). Our partner, LA Phil, will be at our booth showcasing their violinmaking arts and crafts activity for everyone to enjoy. There will be swag bags, a listening lounge, and more. Additionally, our hosts will be available for a meet and greet. Please refer to the schedule below for meet and greet times and dates (subject to change). Be sure to stop by and say hello and you may even be able to hear snippets of something special coming out for kids soon!
