Did our Notes from the Fires friends find something to be grateful for on Thanksgiving? Spoiler Alert: Yes.

It was good because we had a Thanksgiving, and we had a home to have it in. So no complaints here.

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends, and found lots to be grateful for. This was the first Thanksgiving for victims of the Eaton and Palisades fires, most of whom lost everything they had.

So, really, they only thing to ask them today is, “How was your Thanksgiving?” Which is the question Notes from the Fires host John Rabe put to Christopher Still, the second trumpet for the LA Phil, who lost his home in Altadena.
