Kent Nagano, Sharan Leventhal

Kent Nagano is a NorCal native who’s conducted the Montreal Symphony Orchestra for over a decade. Nagano talks about meeting people with music and finding the true rhythm in The Rite of Spring. Plus, American composer Ben Johnston just turned 90, to mark the occasion we talk to a member of the quartet who’s recorded every single one of his string quartets. Film critic Kenneth Turan gives his take on three new movies and Dean Rob Cutietta answers a question about missing key signatures on Ask the Dean.
