Spanish composer Alberto Iglesias stopped by with Jim Svejda to discuss his score to Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. The subdued but fiercely intense score is, not coincidentally, akin to Gary Oldman’s also nominated interpretation of George Smiley. In addition, Iglesias discusses his frequent collaborations with Pedro Almodovar & how a composer handles a director who asks for an ‘orange’ score.
