Summer Night Concert 2016
Semyon Bychkov / Vienna Philharmonic

This year’s Summer Night Concert by the renowned Vienna Philharmonic took place on May 26, which, the last time I looked, is still Spring! No matter, it’s a super fun tradition which takes place annually in the gardens of the Schönbrunn Palace on the outskirts of Vienna. The conductor for this concert was Semyon Bychkov, who brought along his wife, Marielle Labeque and her sister Katia for French favorites like Daphnis and Chloe and Bolero by Ravel, Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals, the Double Piano Concerto by Poulenc, and more.
