Words Fail
Yevgeny Kutik, violin/John Novacek, piano
Hans Christian Andersen once said, “Where words fail, music speaks.” Using that idea as a jumping off point, the young Russian-American violinist has put together a program of works that “speak”. Kutik teams up with pianist John Novacek for several of the Songs without Words by Felix Mendelssohn, a violin/piano version of the Mahler Adagietto, as well as selections by Prokofiev, Lera Auerbach, and Messiaen; plus a brand new work entitled Words Fail by Timo Andres.
