Music Makes Friends out of Strangers!

HostsCaliforniaCommunityMaggie Clennon Reberg

“There are no strangers here; only friends you haven’t yet met”

~ WB Yeats

And we’re about to make a lot of new friends! And here’s another “oldie but goodie”,

“The More, the Merrier!”

Content image

When we first began to explore new ways to deepen our relationship with you, to search out new pathways that would connect us with a larger community, one particular word kept popping up in our conversations, and that word is:

Harmony: {Latin} joining, concord, agreement

In many ways, we already enjoy this harmonious relationship; no matter who we are, where we live, how we move within the world, we are united by a common bond - our love for this music. For myself, there is no more agreeable way to start the day than spending time with good friends listening to great music. My favorite mantra (you’ve heard me say this eleventy-billion times!) is Music makes Friends out of Strangers. When the occasional happenstance finds us together in line at the local coffee shop, or we meet up at an event like , it never feels like an awkward first date; rather more like old pals catching up! The time we share each morning on the radio is the best part of my day and I hope you feel the same. And with the harmonization of our two stations, the entire Golden State is going to feel like one big happy family!

We live in a world of unprecedented complexity, for which the antidote is unity, harmony, and beauty. We want to help you get more of that in your life; in fact, the more the merrier!

More music, more connection, more joy.

See you in the Morning,

Maggie

You can hear Maggie Clennon Reberg on Classical California weekdays from 9AM to Noon, and on Saturdays 7AM to 1PM. Don't miss Maggie's "Which Is It?! Saturdays at 9AM. It's a new quick quiz that will have you asking, "is that classical music, or ... something else?"

Next Week in the Host Column: Jennifer Miller Hammel goes behind the scenes of Arcade.
