Oscar Pritchard breaking ground for his new home in Altadena, which he’ll share with his brother and his parents Alex Opsahl and Ian Pritchard, founders of the Baroque ensemble Tesserae.
John Rabe
Way back in March, for just the fourth episode of Notes from the Fires, host John Rabe interviewed Alex Opsahl and Ian Pritchard, founders of the Baroque ensemble Tesserae. They had lost their home, their instruments, and their cats when their house in Altadena burned. Now, exciting news: just a couple weeks ago, John met Alex and Ian on the site of their new house! They talked about what they’ve gone through in the last year, what the new house will look like, and Christmas food their new cats would love.
We’ll close out today’s joyous episode with Jean D’Estree’s Les Bouffons, performed by the Baltimore Consort.
